Lot of NEAC Postseason action on this date. Baseball (2012) and men's golf (2018) hoisted the championship trophy. Below are all of the events from April 29 since 2006.

April 29, 2018
Baseball: PSB 8, Penn State Abington 1 (Boxscore) - Baseball finishes off sweep over Penn State Abington
Sean Pavlik allowed six hits and one run, while striking out three in 6.0 innings to earn the win and Alex Laudenslager struck out three batters in 3.0 innings for the save. Damian Mace went 3-for-4 with four RBI, while Dante Salerno was 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI. Mason Pennypacker (double) and Tyler Comport both had one hit, one RBI, and two runs scored.

Golf: PSB 1st/9 teams (Results) - Men's golf wins first ever NEAC Championship; Cornish wins individual title
The Nittany Lions had a two-day score of 630 (309-3210) to win the NEAC Championship for the first time in program history. They finished eight strokes ahead of Rutgers-Camden and Penn College, who tied for second. Andrew Cornish was the individual champion by six strokes with a two-day score of 148 (70-78). With that win, Cornish was the Golfer of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and NEAC All-Conference First Team honors. Matt Kreider earned first team honors by placing fourth with a score of 157 (79-78), followed by Dan Fieger on the second team after placing seventh with a 160 (81-79). Jacob Siegfried placed 20th with a 169 (79-90) and Ethan Cairns was 22nd with 170 (84-86).

Men's Tennis: Individual Results - Uhle named Rookie of the Year; Men's tennis places nine on All-NEAC Teams
Diego Olazagasti (No. 2) and Federico Ochoa (No. 4) earned All-NEAC First Team honors after winning their respective singles tournaments. Curtis Uhle and Ochoa teamed up to win the No. 2 doubles tourney and thus earning first team recognition. Will Byler (No. 1), Uhle (No. 3), Grant Batzer (No. 5), and Shane Leaf (No. 6) all were runner-up to receive All-NEAC Second Team honors The No. 1 duo (Byler/Olazagasti) and No. 3 (Batzer/Leaf) teams both finished second and all earned second team honors. Uhle was selected as the NEAC Rookie of the Year and head coach Scott Yarnell received Coach of the Year honors.

Baseball: PSB 6, Cazenovia 1 (GM 1); PSB 15, CAZ 2 (GM 2) - Comport K's single-game record 14 to highlight sweep of Cazenovia
Dylan Gallagher allowed three hits and one run, while striking out three in a complete-game win in game one. Cory Fox was 3-for-3 with a double, triple, two stolen bases, RBI, and three runs scored, while Toby Welk (triple) and Zach Reis both had one hit and drove in two. In game two, Comport struck out a school-record 14 batters in 6.0 innings of work, while surrendering four hits and one run to earn the win. Cody Fidler had one strikeout and Jon Davis had two as the trio combined for a single-game record 17 strikeouts. Fox was 3-for-5 with an RBI and four runs, while Welk went 2-for-4 with a triple, four RBI, and a run scored. Dalton Hughes, Brandon Griesemer, and Mitch Amenta all had two hits and combined for five RBI and six runs scored.

Softball: PSB 1, Lancaster Bible 0 (GM 1); PSB 9, LBC 0 (GM 2) - Softball shuts out LBC in both games of doubleheader sweep
Jess Rozick struck out eight batters in a complete-game, three-hit shutout in game one. Heather Rissell singled to score Becca Faust with the lone run of the game in the top of the seventh. Jenna Heffner and Megan Olsen also had hits. In game two, Faust struck out one in a complete-game, five-hit shutout. Ashley Malek went 3-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored, while Heffner went 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI. Faust (one run) and Madison Newhouser (two stolen bases) both had two hits, Chelsea Bright scored three times. Olsen and Kendel Reed both had a hit and scored a run.

Women's Tennis: Penn State Abington 5, PSB 2 (Boxscore) - Women's tennis falls in NEAC Title match to Abington
Kianna Anderson and Erin Ginther pulled off an 8-6 win at No. 2 doubles. Lucrezia Pulcini earned the only other point for Berks with a 6-4, 6-2 triumph at fifth singles.

Baseball: York 16, PSB 3 (Boxscore) - Baseball falls on the road to York
This was a rough one. Andrew Hertzog had three strikeouts and Comport had four, while both tossed 3.1 innings of relief. John McGarvey and Keeanu Erb both were 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Luke Erb (double) and Hughes each went 1-for-2 with a run scored.

Softball: PSB 11, Gallaudet 0 (GM 1); PSB 9, GAL 6 (GM 2) - Softball takes two on the road from Gallaudet
Rozick tossed a complete-game, no-hitter with five strikeouts in game one. Heffner became the first player in program-history to hit for the cycle, as she finished 4-for-4 with a double, triple, home run, four RBI, and two runs scored. Malek went 4-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, and two runs scored, while Reed finished 2-for-3 with a double, triple, RBI, and two runs scored. Rissell had one hit and scored twice, Becky Webster had one hit and drove in three. In game two, Abby Staskiel earn the win with 1.0 inning of relief and Rozick recorded the final out for the save. Carolyn Degurski went 2-for-4 with two doubles, three RBI, and a run scored, while Natalie Babik was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Olsen (triple) and Reed each went 1-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored.

Men's Tennis: PSB 5, Lancaster Bible 0 (Boxscore) - Men's tennis moves past LBC in the semi's
The No. 1 (Drew Weinhold/Byler) and No. 2 (Ryan Fritz/Shesh Patel) doubles teams both won 8-1, while Dylan Deleon and Angel Negron were 8-2 winners at three. Fritz (No. 3) and Deleon (No. 5) both won in straight sets to seal the win and send the Nittany Lions to the NEAC Title match.

Women's Tennis: Individual Results - Anderson earns Rookie of the Year; Ginther and Schultz finish as individual champs
Cassidy Schultz (No. 5) and Ginther (No. 6) both won their singles tournament to earn All-NEAC First team honors. Marje Robinson (No. 2) and Caroline Bashore (No. 4) both were runner-up to get second team honors, while Kianna Anderson (No. 1) and Tanya White (No. 3) were third team recipients. The No. 1 (Anderson/Bashore), No. 2 (Robinson/White), and No. 3 (Schultz/Ginther) doubles teams were all second team selections. Anderson was voted by the NEAC Coaches as the Rookie of the Year.

Baseball: Gallaudet 5, PSB 4 (GM 1); PSB 13, GAL 5 (GM 2) - Nittany Lions repeat as West Division Champs
Kyle Hartman went 2-for-4 a double, RBI, and a run scored in game one. Nick Vitelli, Connor Corson, and Rich Schlamowitz all had a hit and scored a run. In the winner-take-all title-game, Ryan Tantala allowed five runs (three earned) and struck out three for a complete-game victory. Schlamowitz was 4-for-6 with two doubles, one triple, four RBI, and a run scored, while Vitelli and Hartman both went 3-for-6 with one RBI and combined for five RBI. Christian Marcin was 3-for-4 with a double, RBI, and a run scored, while Corson, Kevin Heilman, and Michael Ference all had two hits and combined for five runs and four RBI. In the top of the first, Tantala got an inning ending triple play lineout (Heilman-Ference-Hartman) on the fourth batter of the game.

Men's Tennis: Individual Results - Kopp earns All-NEAC First Team honors
Dashiell Kopp was the No. 4 singles tournament winner to earn All-NEAC First Team honors. Matt Holdorf (No. 1), Brad Kale (No. 3), and Amir Alikhani (No. 6) all received third team honors in singles. The No. 1 (Holdorf/Kopp) and No. 2 (Kale/Javier Quinones-Melendez) finished as third team honorees.

Softball: PSB 9, Penn St. Harrisburg 3 (GM 1); Wilson 2, PSB 1 (GM 2) - Softball tops Harrisburg, falls to Wilson to open NEAC Tournament
Against Harrisburg, Larissa Tenley allowed six hits and three runs (one earned) in a complete-game win. Dayna Harrison went 2-for-4 with a triple, three RBI, and a run scored, while Shari Lynne Kluth was 2-for-5 with two RBI. Marissa Ruggiero finished 2-for-3 with a double, RBI, and two runs scored, Casey Hafer was 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored. Against Wilson, Hafer allowed two hits and struck out three in 3.0 innings of relief. Ruggiero was 1-for-3 with a triple and a run scored, while Kluth (stolen base) and Alyssa Stahly both had  hit.

Men's Tennis: Individual Results - Berks places seven on All-NEAC teams
Tim Ko and Holdorf won the No. 2 doubles tournament and Steve Roughton won No. 3 singles to earn All-NEAC First Team honors. Kale and Quinones-Melendez were runner-up at second doubles to receive All-NEAC Second Team recognition. Holdorf (No. 4) and Quinones-Melendez (No. 5) were second team in singles, while Ko (No. 1) and Kale (No. 6) were third team.

Baseball: Ursinus 12, PSB 0 (Boxscore)
Anthony Furillo was 2-for-2, while Brian Reynolds, Josh Tiuchty, and JJ Booth all added singles.

Baseball: King's 6, PSB 1 (GM 1); King's 21, PSB 0 (GM 2)
Chris Hendricks struck out two batters in a complete-game effort in game one. Aaron Klaptosky went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored, while Tyler Fleischut, Josh Hoch, and Tim Shipley all had a hit. In game two, Fleischut had a pair of strikeouts in 2.0 innings of relief. Tiuchty, Kyle Svenkeson, Mike Schaaf, and Klaptosky all had a hit.
