Bethlehem, PA - Penn State Berks Men's and Women's Cross Country teams participated in the Paul Short Run, a prominent event hosted by Lehigh University that featured top runners from across NCAA Division I, II, and III. The men's team secured a 20th place finish among 35 teams, while the women's team placed 34th out of 34 teams.
In the men's race, standout performances were led by sophomore
Trent Jordan, who finished 38th with a time of 27:08.5. This time marked the sixth fastest 8K time in Penn State Berks program history. Fellow sophomore
Cristian Corona-Olivais followed with a 65th place finish at 27:49.1. Additional contributions came from
Nathaniel Leano, placing 124th at 28:48.6,
Simon Rickert in 191st with 29:48.5, and freshman
Samuel Branford, who finished 268th with a time of 32:13.6.
In the women's race, freshman
Brianna Strittmatter was the top finisher, placing 233rd with a time of 29:02.1.
Heather Hoffman completed the race in 245th position at 30:00.6. Other participants included
Elianny Tremols in 280th place at 39:23.1, junior Abby Pfander in 282nd with 45:09.4, and freshman
Natalia Campo, who finished 283rd at 45:15.4.
