Gettysburg, PA - Penn State Berks Men's and Women's Cross Country teams took part in the Aubrey Shenk Invitational on Saturday, October 18, with
Trent Jordan setting a program record time in the 8K race. The Men's team took 14
th amongst Division III teams taking part in the meet.
Jordan once again led the Lions in the men's 8K, posting a career-best and program best time of 26:15.9. Cristian Corona also set a new personal best, recording a time of 26:47.2, the third fastest time in program history.
Nathaniel Leano posted an improved time of 28:06.90. Simon Ricket continued his improvement this fall, completed the course in a time of 29:05.2. Samuel Bradford finished closely behind Rickert, crossing the finish line in a time of 29:10.20.
In the women's 6K race,
Brianna Strittmatter paced the Lions, recording a new personal best time of 26:08.9.
Heather Hoffman was the next Berks runner to cross the finish line, posting a time of 29:11.1.
Natalia Campo was the Lions final runner to take part in the event, recording a time of 39:20.7
