Latham, NY- The United East Conference announced its weekly award winners on Tuesday, October 7, with Penn State Berks' Talon Nguyen earning his first Men's Tennis Player of the Week Award and Trent Jordan picking up his second weekly honor for Men's Cross Country.

Nguyen helped the Lions take down Alvernia University 7-0 on Saturday, October 4. Nguyen with his doubles partner Jazae Maina-Itegi, picked up a victory in the #1 doubles match, helping securing the team a doubles point. Nguyen was then picked up a 6-1, 7-5 victory in the number #1 singles match. 

The Men's Team returns to the courts when they host Arcadia University on Friday, October 10. 

Jordan had another excellent showing at the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University. He finished the 8K in a time of 27:08.5, the sixth fastest 8K time in program history. 

The Cross Country teams will be back in action running at the DeSales University Invitational on Saturday, October 11.
