Men’s Cross Country Finishes Third at Abington, Women Finish 10th

HUNTINGTON VALLEY, Pa. – The Penn State Berks cross country teams competed at Penn State Abington on Saturday. The Berks men finished third, and the women's team finished 10th.

On the men's side in the 8k, Berks finished third behind Stockton and Holy Family and well ahead of Kean for third place. Trent Jordan led the way for Berks, finishing 12th in 29:43. Ben Carman was just behind in 14th place in 30:15.

Nathaniel Leano finished in 23rd, Simon Rickert was in 39th and Christian Corona in 76th rounded out the top-five for the men.

On the women's side in the 6k, Berks finished in 10th place. Naomi Fay led the way with a 20th place finish in a time of 29:15. Heather Hoffman was in 57th, and Natalya Rivera came in 68th place. Abby Pfander and Liberty Stitzman came in back-to-back places in 84th and 85th places to complete the women's top-five.

The cross country teams return to action at DeSales on October 12.
