Center Valley, Pa- The Penn St. Berks Men's & Women's Cross Country Teams showed their growth with every runner setting new personal best times in the Aubrey Shenk Invitational hosted by Gettysburg College on Saturday, Oct. 19.
The outstanding performances were headlined by
Trent Jordan, whose time of 27:25.3 was the 6
th fastest 8K time in school history.
Nathaniel Leano and
Ben Carman ran together, finishing in 124
th and 126
th respectively.
The women's team was led once again by
Naomi Fay who set a new PR with a time of 26:19.6.
Heather Hoffman also had her best outing of the year, finishing the race with a PR of 30:20.0.
The Aubrey Shenk Invitational featured teams from across all three levels of NCAA competition, which helped to push each runner to their best time of the season. The men's team took 16th of 20 teams while the women's team placed 21st of 21 teams.
