XC concludes season at NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional

LOCK HAVEN, PA - The Penn State Berks men's and women's cross country teams finished off the 2022 season by competing at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Region Championship on Saturday afternoon. (Results)

The women's squad only had four runners and did not count toward the team standings. On the men's side, Berks finished 31st out of 32 competing teams.

Patrick O'Donnell crossed the finish line at 27:57.7 to finish 102nd out of 222 runners. Avi Hochhauser finished 173rd after clocking in at 30:27.2 on the 8K course. Tyler Bannon (35:42.9) and Evan Grim (36:54.1) finished side-by-side at 211th and 212th. Joel Benedick rounded out the runners factoring in the scoring, placing 214th with a time of 36:57.6.

Erin Horack was the top women's Berks runner after placing 149th with a time of 26:42.5 on the 6K course. Naomi Fay followed in 166th place with a time of 27:42.2, while Susan Duncan was 203rd after crossing the finish at 34:09.3. Eshani Das (43:44.0) finished 209th.
