MXC finishes 9th at Jack St. Clair Invite

PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Penn State Berks men's cross country team finished ninth out of 16 teams at the Jack St. Clair College Invitational on Saturday afternoon at Belmont Plateau. (Results)

The Nittany Lions had a team score of 239 points, which placed them just behind Rutgers-Newark (233) in eighth place.

Patrick O'Donnell was the top runner for Berks, finishing with a time of 29:21.6 to place 16th out of 97 runners. Avi Hochhauser followed in 39th place with his time of 31:46.4 on the 8K course, followed by Kerry Benson in 46th place after crossing the finish line at 33:22.6. John Kiernan (35:08.3) and Tyler Bannon (37:21.3) were 63rd and 75th to round out the Berks runners factoring in the scoring.

The Nittany Lions return to action at the United East Championship on Saturday, October 29 hosted by Penn State Abington.
