XC competes at Alvernia Invitational

LEESPORT, PA - The Penn State Berks cross country teams competed at the Alvernia University Invitational on Saturday afternoon at the Berks Youth Recreational Facility. The men's team collected a team score of 75 to place third, while the women came in fourth with 79 points. (Men's Results | Women's Results)

Will Graybill led the Nittany Lions with a time of 30:56.8 to place 14th. Jacob Conrad (31:42.4) and Mihai Sanchez (32:09.5) finished 17th and 18th, respectively. Troy Seiberling was the next Berks runner to cross the finish line, placing 21st with a time of 32:27.3. Andre Lawson rounded out the Nittany Lions top five, finishing 18th with his time of 33:16.9.

Amanda Hauser was the Nittany Lions top runner with a time of 26:48.6 to place 6th in the field of 34 runners. Mikaela Smith claimed 14th place with her time of 27:43.5, while Jordan Bascome was 23rd with a time of 30:07.0. Rachel Hodgson (32:51.) and Hallie Music (32:59.7) were 26th and 27th, respectively.

The Nittany Lions will compete in the NEAC Championship hosted by Lancaster Bible College on Saturday, October 29.
