Latham, N.Y. - The United East has announced its 2026 Men's Tennis All-Conference Teams and Major Award Winners on Wednesday, May 6 with Penn State Berks earning three All-Conference Honors. Talan Nguyen was named to the first team as a singles player while Jazae Maina-Itegi was named to the second team. The duo of Nguyen and Maina-Itegi earned a second team doubles award. 

Nguyen stepped up this spring, becoming the teams No. 1 singles player, going 4-2 in No. 1 singles matches in conference play this season. Nguyen was a leader for his team on-and-off the court, being named the United East Elite 21 winner, having a GPA of 4.0 in Mechanical Engineering. 

Maina-Itegi continued his stellar play for hte Blue & White in his senior season. He would also go 4-2 in singles conference play this season, winning three times at the No. 2 singles position.

Nguyen and Maina-Itegi teamed in doubles play, playing in the #1 double position all season. The duo went 3-3 in conference play this season.
