Men's tennis falls in conference opener

Box Score ABINGTON, PA (March 29, 2015) - The Penn State Berks men's tennis team dropped its North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) opener, 7-2, on the road to Penn State Abington on Sunday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions picked up a win at No. 1 singles with Drew Weinhold recording scores of 6-3, 6-1. Will Byler earned the other win at second singles, winning by set scores of 6-3, 6-1. Byler and Volan Nnanpalle were edged, 9-8, at No. 2 doubles after dropping the tiebreaker by a 7-3 count.

The Nittany Lions return to action with a home NEAC contest against Lancaster Bible College on Wednesday, April 1 at 3:30 p.m.
