Men's tennis grabs 6-3 win over Cazenovia

Box Score VERONA, N.Y. (April 14, 2013) - The Penn State Berks men's tennis team got back on its winning ways with a 6-3 victory over Cazenovia College in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Western Division contest on Sunday afternoon. (Boxscore)

The Nittany Lions (6-4, 3-1 NAC) picked up wins in two of the three doubles matches. Jerrad Seifrit and Jeremy Emami won 8-2 at second doubles and Creston Smoker paired up with Matthew Wise for an 8-1 win at the third flight.

In singles action, Drew Weinhold took the No. 1 spot by a score of 6-4, 6-3. Seifrit won a pro set at No. 4 by score of 8-4, followed by Emami's (No. 5) 8-1 victory. Shesh Patel rounded out the winners with an 8-0 victory at sixth singles.

The Nittany Lions will travel to Rosemont College for a non-conference match on Wednesday, April 17 at 4 p.m.
