Men’s tennis beats Keuka in rain shortened match

Box Score KEUKA, N.Y. (April 17, 2011) – The Penn State Berks men's tennis team downed Keuka College, 5-0, in an North Athletic Conference (NAC) Western Division contest on Sunday afternoon. (Boxscore)

The Nittany Lions (5-4, 2-0, NAC West) grabbed in a win in all three doubles matches and the match was called after a pair of victories in singles play.

Andrew Miller and Steven Roughton picked up an 8-4 win at the first doubles flight. The No. 2 team of Tim Ko and Matt Holdorf were 8-3 winners, as were the No. 3 duo Javier Quinones-Melendez and Cody Schreiner.

Ko was a 6-1, 6-0 winner at first singles and Brad Kale won the clincher 6-4, 6-3 in the No. 6 spot.

The Nittany Lions will host Penn State Harrisburg tomorrow afternoon at Gring's Mill beginning at 3 p.m.
