READING, PA - The Penn State Berks baseball team stayed hot with a 9-2 victory over Juniata College in the Nittany Lions home opener on a beautiful, sunny Wednesday afternoon at Hintz Athletic Field.

The Nittany Lions (4-4) received another solid pitching performance from Colin Wilson and the bats provided the freshman right-hander with some early runs.

Templin then scored from third when the first baseman was late going to home on a grounder by Nick Bergeman.

Berks tacked on another run in the seventh with a bases loaded walk to Templin to score Gramignano. In the ninth, Bergeman had an RBI double and later scored on a fielder's choice by Trovinger.
