Albright edges Nittany Lions, 5-3

Box Score READING, PA (September 28, 2012) - The Penn State Berks women's tennis team lost by a score of 5-3 to Albright College in a non-conference match on Friday afternoon. (Boxscore)

Albright took two of the three doubles matches to jump out to an early lead going into singles play. The Nittany Lions denied a sweep in doubles with an 8-6 win at No. 3 doubles by Liz Martinez and Taylor Keselica.

Elizabeth Kehm earned a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles and Kristina Hatter was a winner at fifth singles (6-4, 6-4). Martinez was tied at 1-set apiece at No. 6 singles, but the match was halted due to darkness.

The Nittany Lions will host Neumann University on Tuesday, October 2 at 4 p.m.
