2011-12: Hatter made an immediate impact for the Nittany Lions in her freshman season. She had a 10-4 singles record, playing primarily in the No. 6 spot. Hatter capped off an eight match winning streak with a critical 7-5, 6-1 victory in the NEAC Championship. In the individual tournament, Hatter finished runner-up in the NEAC No. 6 tournament. In doubles, Hatter had a record of 6-4. She teamed with Samantha Warga to win five of six matches. The duo earned All-NEAC Third Team honors in the No. 3 doubles tournament.
