READING, PA (December 19, 2010) - Four players finished in double-figures for Penn State Berks, but Gallaudet earned a 90-86 win in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) showdown on Sunday at Beaver Community Center.
The two teams entered tied for second place in the NEAC, with the win Gallaudet moves to 4-1 and Berks drops to 3-2 in the conference.
Wanyae Hartsfield led Berks with 20 points on 8-of-15 shooting from the floor. He also had a game-high four steals.
Tore Turner and Dontez Reid each dished out six assists. Turner added 15 points and Reid chipped 13 of his own. Michael Perone rounded out the Nittany Lions in double-figures with 11 points.
Devin Moore was held to just four points, but he managed a game-high 11 rebounds.
The Bison were led by Layton Seeber's 25 points, 10 assist and eight rebound effort. Tony Tatum finished with 21 points, 15 of which he got at the free throw line.
Berks will return to action on Wednesday, January 5 in a nonconference contest at Elizabethtown. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
