READING, PA (December 11, 2010) - The Penn State Berks men's basketball team fell 86-70 in a nonconference contest with Albright College on Saturday afternoon.
The loss drops to the Nittany Lions to 3-5 overall, while Albright improves to 5-2.
Tore Turner led all scorers with 19 points. The freshman guard also grabbed six rebounds, handed out six assists and had three steals for Berks. Devin Moore had 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Thomas Smith added 12 points and 10 boards. It was Moore's third double-double in four games and the first of Smith's college career.
The teams fought to a 39-all tie after the first 20 minutes and were even 52-52 with 12:15 left in the contest. But a 14-4 surge gave Albright a comfortable lead to manage the rest of the way.
