Despite the Nittany Lions' efforts, the Bison responded effectively, leveraging fast breaks and points in the paint to remain in contention. Gallaudet's Wyatt Carlson and Alex Ortman spearheaded a comeback that led to a narrow visitor advantage. The half concluded with Penn State-Berks trailing 33–30.

The second half began with a strong start for Berks, as Isaiah Cotten scored a jumper assisted by Josh Mingledolph. Despite early scoring efforts, Gallaudet countered with a series of field goals, including a 3-pointer from Keanu Boren, which widened their lead. Blue & White responded with a layup from Zach Prator and a 3-pointer by Cooper Truskey, keeping the score competitive at the outset. Midway through the half, Berks gained momentum with a 3-pointer by Quentin Wright, followed by another from Matthew Gingerich, narrowing the gap.
