Elizabethtown, Pa.- The Penn St. Berks Men's Soccer team fell in their road tilt with Elizabethtown College, dropping their match-up with Blue Jays by a score of 5-0 on Wednesday, September 3.
The Nittany Lions fell behind early as Elizabethtown scored in the third minute. Berks tried to respond, with
Nathan Fatkin firing shot on a counterattack in the 11
th minute. The Blue Jays capitalized on a mistake by Lions, converting a penalty kick goal to go ahead 2-0. Elizabethtown added one more goal in the 41
st minute to hold a 3-0 at the break.
Berks made some halftime adjustments and controlled more of the possession early in the second half. Fatkin was able to get another scoring chance, but his shot sailed over the crossbar. Nittany Lions Goalkeeper
Josh Martin made 13 saves to keep the Lions within three for most of the second half. Elizabethtown added goals in the 86
th minute and the 90
th minute to capture a 5-0 victory.

Berks will head to Doylestown to face Delaware Valley University on Saturday, September 6. The opening kick-off is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
