ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. — The Penn State Berks Women's Soccer team played to a 1-1 draw on Saturday, September 20th vs. Elizabethtown College, with each team scoring one goal in the second half. Penn State Berks opened the first half as Paige Thomas wasted no time making an attempt at goal in the 2nd minute. Despite several shots from Zoey Mortimer and Devon Deery, the team was unable to find the back of the net. Elizabethtown broke the stalemate in the 37th minute with a goal from Grace Tessier, assisted by Jenna Hoffmann, putting the home team ahead. The Nittany Lions continued to press forward but headed into the break trailing 1-0.

The second half commenced with Sophia Gonzalez anchoring the defense for Penn State Berks, making crucial saves against Elizabethtown's offensive efforts.
