The first half began with an early advantage for-Berks as Terridine Grant found the back of the net in the 5th minute, assisted by fellow senior Suyash Bhandarkar. Pitt.-Greensburg equalized quickly, with Mitch Murray's goal in the 8th minute, followed by a penalty conversion by Lucas Pittman at 25:44, shifting the momentum. Despite several attempts from Nathan Fatkin and Jack Salmon, the home team found themselves trailing 3-1 at the end of the half after a third goal by Matt Armenio at 32:22.
