Harrisburg, PA- The Penn State Berks Men's Golf Team competed in the United East Championship Preview Event held at Dauphin Highlands Golf Course in Harrisburg, PA, on Thursday, October 2. The team finished fifth overall out of eight teams, with a total score of 324 at the course that will host the conference championship this spring.
Individually,
Gavin Bereschak and
Peyton Moyer delivered standout performances, both placing in the top five. Bereschak posted a round of 74, finishing two strokes over par and in a tie for second place overall. Moyer carded a 75, three over par finishing in fifth place. Their efforts were pivotal in securing the team's fifth-place finish. Other contributors included
Rob Pasquarella with a score of 86 taking 29th overall, Tommy Clark with 89 taking 34th overall, and
Brady Snyder with 96 taking 42 overall.
In the team standings, Penn College led with a score of 308, followed closely by Penn State Harrisburg at 310, Lancaster Bible at 315, and Rutgers-Camden at 318. Penn State Berks secured the fifth spot with their score of 324, ahead of Penn State Brandywine, Wilson, and Penn State Abington.

The Nittany Lions will take part in The Bear Tournament hosted by Ursinus College on October 10th and 11th.
