La Plume, PA - Penn State Berks rallied back to earn a 2-2 draw against Keystone College on Tuesday, October 21 at Keystone Turf Field, with both teams scoring once in each half.
The first half opened with the Nittany Lions' defense standing firm as
Josh Martin made crucial saves to keep the game level early. Despite Keystone's initial pressure, Berks responded effectively, creating opportunities through headers and corner kicks, with
Keegan Redcay and
Nathan Fatkin testing the opposing goalkeeper. Keystone took the lead in the 19th minute with a goal from Leo Arrieta, assisted by Brayan Rodriguez. However, Berks quickly countered with
Emir Hamzic finding the back of the net in the 29th minute, assisted by
Terridine Grant, leveling the score at 1-1. The half concluded with the Nittany Lions maintaining pressure and ending on an equal footing at the break.
The second half began with the Nittany Lions applying immediate pressure. Despite several attempts, including shots from
Terridine Grant and
Gavin Dai, the team struggled to find the net early on. Keystone took the lead in the 72nd minute with a goal by Elye Albujar, assisted by Lenskey Raoul. Berks responded quickly, leveling the match with a goal from
Callan Stuck in the 75th minute. Stuck perfectly placed a corner kick that bounced past the Giants keeper for his 10th goal of the season. Berks continued to press, with
Nathan Fatkin and Hamzic generating additional opportunities. Neither side could muster another goal, with the match ending in a 2-2 draw.
Josh Martin recorded six saves in the match, facing a total of eight shots. Grant contributed one assist and attempted three shots, one of which was on target. Stuck led the team by scoring a goal, adding an assist, and taking five shots, with three on goal. Hamzic also found the back of the net and took five shots, with two being on target.

Looking ahead, the Nittany Lions will host Cairn University on Saturday, Oct. 25, in Reading, PA in the team's regular season finale. The match is set to begin at 1 PM and has major United East Playoff seeding implications.
