Maya Dolan tested the Penn State Harrisburg goalkeeper, Alexis Valenta, at the 20th minute, marking the first significant attempt on goal for Berks.

However, Harrisburg broke through in the 72nd minute with Diana Pon scoring the half's only goal, assisted by Sgrignioli, putting the home team ahead 1-0.
