Reading, Pa.- The Penn St. Berks Men's Soccer Team fell to Penn St. Brandywine in their final home regular season game by a score of 2-0 on Saturday, Oct 22.

Berks (3-12-1 Overall, 1-5-1 UEC) fell behind early in the match as Brandywine (6-7-3 Overall, 3-4 UEC) scored twice in the opening 18 minutes of the game. The Lions tried to answer back, getting the ball into the attacking end of the field, but they could not create many quality scoring chances. Gavin Dai created the team's lone scoring chance, but his shot was blocked on its way to the goal. The Blue & White trailed by two at the break.

The Lions began to create more scoring chances in the second half, earning several corner kicks. Berks were only able to fire two shots however and they were unable to put either on frame. The Lion's defense was able to tighten up in the second half, holding Brandywine to only four total shots. Berks earned four corner kicks in the final eight minutes, but could not cut into the deficit, falling 2-0.

WHO'S NEXT
The Lions will hit the road to face Cairn University in their regular season finale on Saturday, Oct. 26. The kickoff is scheduled to start at 7:30 PM.
