Men's Soccer Drops Home Match to Harrisburg

Reading, Pa.- The Penn St. Berks Men's Soccer Team could not stop a second half onslaught, falling to Penn St. Harrisburg by a score of 6-0 on Wednesday, Oct 16.

Berks (3-11-1 Overall, 0-4-1 UEC) struggled to find its footing, conceding a goal to Harrisburg (12-3-1 Overall, 5-0 UEC) in the 7th minute. The Lions tried to settle in earning five first half corner kicks and having Gavin Dai lift a ball just over the crossbar in the 29th minute. Terridine Grant created a quality scoring chance, firing a shot that was deflected and a second try that sailed over the crossbar. Berks kept Harrisburg from adding another goal, heading into the break trailing 1-0.

Harrisburg struck twice in the first 10 minutes of the second half to capture the momentum. The Lions could not slow their roll, as Harrisburg added three more goals to build a 6-0 lead. The Blue & White struggled to find any offensive rhythm, eventually falling by a score of 6-0.
