WBB drops non-conference tilt to Manhattanville

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks women's basketball team opened up the new year with an 103-35 setback to Manhattanville College in a non-conference contest Thursday night.

Ashlyn Clark had a team-high 13 points to go along with six rebounds and one blocked shot, while Hailey Miller added seven points, eight boards, and an assist. Morgan Kline finished with five points and five rebounds, Mahala Ruffner chipped in four points, four boards, three steals, one block, and an assist. Liberty Stitzman and Sam Hagenbush each had two steals.

Niyona Smith led the Valiants with 17 points to go with three blocked shots and a steal. Julianna Kascic had 16 points, 19 rebounds, three assists, and two steals, while Jamison Agostino and Caroline Barbalato both finished with 11 points.

Berks will face Penn State Harrisburg in an United East contest on Saturday, January 6 at 1 p.m.
