MBB topped by Harrisburg

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks men's basketball team was topped by Penn State Harrisburg, 91-66, in United East action on Saturday afternoon.

Marquis Ferreira stayed hot on the offensive end of the floor, knocked down five 3-pointers en route to a team-high 19 points. This marked the fifth straight contest that the sophomore guard has scored 16 or more points as he raised his scoring average to 13.1 points per game. Andre Ballard and Luke Collins each chipped in nine points, while Josh Mingledolph and Kai Davis finished with eight points apiece. Matthew Gingerich had six points and a team-high five rebounds.

Isaiah Eggleston led Harrisburg with 16 points off the bench, followed by Lance Douglas with 14. Nate Curry chipped in 12 points, nine boards, and four assists, while Malik Holland added 12 pints and four rebounds.

Berks will host Penn College in an United East contest on Tuesday, January 30 at 5 p.m.
