WBB falls to Abington on the road

ABINGTON, PA - The Penn State Berks women's basketball team dropped an 104-64 decision on the road to Penn State Abington in United East action on Wednesday night.

Berks trailed by a score of 46-32 at halftime, but Abington was able to take control of the contest by outscoring Berks by a 32-21 margin in the third quarter. 

Hailey Miller and Ashlyn Clark each notched their second double-double of the season. Miller had 28 points and 13 rebounds -- both of which were team-highs -- to go along with five assists and three steals, while Clark finished with 20 points, 10 boards, one steal, and one blocked shot. Liberty Stitzman added eight points and three steals, Sam Hagenbush had seven points and two steals.

Angela Sanders led Abington with 26 points, 12 rebounds, five steals, and four assists, Amirah Hackney followed with 20 points. Four other members scored 10 points each.

Berks will host Penn State Harrisburg in an United East contest on Saturday, January 27 at 3 p.m.
