Baseball wraps up spring trip on Thursday

MYRTLE BEACH, SC - The Penn State Berks baseball team wrapped up its time at the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach with a 13-5 setback to Bridgewater State University on Thursday afternoon.

Chad Evans finished the game 3-for-4 with two RBI, while Colin Templin and Nick Bergeman were both 2-for-4 with a run scored. Kolbie Reeser and Riley Weaver each had a hit a scored a run, David Rudisill added an RBI single. Bryce Kelly and Grant Jacoby both recorded an RBI.

Josh Miiller picked up five strike outs in 4.0 innings of work, while Jake Murgitroyde had four punch outs in 3.0 innings of relief.

The Nittany Lions return to action with their United East opener against Gallaudet University on Saturday, March 18 at 3 p.m.
