Baseball swept by Manhattanville on Sunday

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The Penn State Berks baseball team dropped a pair of games to Manhattanville College on the Nittany Lions second day at the Ripken Experience on Sunday afternoon. Berks fell 20-4 in game one and dropped an 8-3 decision in the second game.

In the first game, Colin Templin had two hits (single, triple) and two runs scored, while Kolbie Reese added two hits (single, double) and an RBI. Joey McGann drove in a pair of runs with a double, Chad Evans added one hit, one RBI, and one run scored. Rayjay Marmolejos finished the game 1-for-3.

Templin, Nick Bergeman, and Kolbie Reeser all had a hit and a run scored in game two. David Rudisill added a hit and an RBI, while Evans and Logan Ewert both recorded an RBI. Colin Amerine went 1-for-3 at the plate.

The Nittany Lions will face La Roche University on Monday, March 6 at 10 a.m.
