Spencer honored on Senior Day against Penn College

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks women's basketball team fell to Penn College, 63-48, in an United East contest on Friday night. The Nittany Lions honored Lyla Spencer prior to the game with Senior Day recognition.

Penn College led 12-11 after the first quarter and took a 28-23 lead into the halftime intermission. Out of the break, the Wildcats outscored Berks by a 35-25 margin to earn the win.

Hailey Miller finished with a game-high 23 points and 15 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season. In addition, Miller had four steals and two assists. Spencer chipped in seen points and three boards, while Kayley Mattis and Sam Hagenbush both finished with six points. Jalyn Hann added four points and pulled down seven boards.

Lexi Troup finished with 11 points, nine rebounds, and six steals, while Rachel Teats added 11 points, six boards, and four assists for the Wildcats. Three players chipped in eight points for Penn College.

The Nittany Lions will finish of the season with a trip to Penn State Harrisburg on Saturday, February 18 at 1 p.m.
