MBB falls to Albright in season opener

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks men's basketball team dropped a 116-69 decision on the road to Albright College in a non-conference contest in both teams season opener on Wednesday evening.

The opening half remained close before Albright eventually took a 48-36 lead into the intermission. Out of the break, Albright extended its lead in the early going and never looked back.

Andre Ballard shot 8-of-14 from the field for a team-high 20 points, to go along with seven rebounds. Luke Collins knocked down four 3-pointers to finish with 14 points and four assists, while Darik Tannis-Harriet added 12 points and three boards. Marquise Ferriera added eight points, while Jaedon Mast chipped in seven.

The Nittany Lions will their home opener versue Alvernia Unversity on Friday, November 10 at 6 p.m.
