Volleyball falls to Harrisburg in regular season finale

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Penn State Harrisburg in an United East contest in both teams regular season finale on Wednesday night.

Berks falls to 7-17 overall and 2-4 in the United East, while Harrisburg goes to 11-15 on the season and 3-3 in the conference. Harrisburg won by game scores of 27-25, 25-20, 25-14.

Diana Stoltzfus and Katelyn Williams each recorded nine kills, followed by Jordan Thompson with eight. Makenzie Shoop added seven kills and Aubrey Hunt chipped in seven. Williams hauled in a team-best 14 digs, followed by Stoltzfus and Riley Kovach with 13 apiece. Libby Swoyer dished out 35 assists to go along with six digs.

Berks and Harrisburg will meet in the United East Quarterfinal round on Saturday, November 4.
