Volleyball falls on the road to Abington

ABINGTON, PA - The Penn State Berks women's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to Penn State Abington in an United East contest on Wednesday evening.

Berks falls to 5-14 overall and 2-2 in the United East, while Abington now sits at 10-12 on the season and 3-3 in the conference.

Jordan Thompson finished with a team-high 12 kills, followed by Makenzie Shoop, Diana Stolzfus, and Katelyn Williams with nine each. Aubrey Hunt led the squad with 16 digs, followed by Riley Kovach with 13 and Williams with 12. Stoltzfus, who had 11 digs, recorded six aces, while Williams had four. Libby Swoyer finished with 35 assists and seven digs.

The Nittany Lions will host Alvernia University on Thursday, October 26 at 6 p.m.
