WXC placed 9th at Lebanon Valley Invitational

LEBANON, PA - The Penn State Berks women's cross country team finished in 9th place out of 11 competing teams at the Last Chance Run Fast Invitational hosted by Lebanon Valley College on Friday evening. (Results)

For the third time this season, Naomi Fay was the Nittany Lions top runner. The junior crossed the finish line with a time of 27:20.8 to place 22nd in the field of 90 runners. Aaliyah Hedrick was just behind Fay, placing 25th after crossing the finish line at 27:33.33 on the 6K course. Hayden Perrone (33:47.29) and Heather Hoffman (33:48.26) finished side-by-side at 71st and 72nd, respectively. Solange Akinyoyenu (45:09.34) and Solay Akinyoyenu (45:12.12) finished 82nd and 83rd overall.

The Nittany Lions will run at the United East Championship hosted by Cairn University on Saturday, October 28 at 12 p.m.
