Lebanon, PA- Penn State Berks Men's and Women's Cross Country took part in the LVC Last Chance Run Fast Meet hosted by Lebanon Valley College on Friday, October 24. The Nittany Lions use the event as final tune up before the upcoming United East Championship.
In the women's race,
Brianna Strittmatter put on the best performance of her career, finishing the course in a time of 25:54.6 and crossing the finish line second overall.
Heather Hoffman was the next runner for Berks to finish, taking 15
th overall with a time of 29:08.0.
Elianny Tremols took part in the event, completing the course in a time of 35:18.7. The Nittany Lions final finisher was
Natalia Campo who posted a time of 38:45.0.
Mark Shiroshita led Berks in the men's race, crossing the finish line in a time of 32:09.1. The Nittany Lions next finisher was
Adonys Paulino recording a time of 32.31.9. The final two finishers were Alex Gonzalez and Matthew Shellenberger who finished in times of 33:10.9 and 50:07.4.

Berks will now look to chase a conference championship at the United East Championship Meet host by Penn State Brandywine on Saturday, November 1.
