Men's soccer drops United East bout to Lancaster Bible

LANCASTER, PA - The Penn State Berks men's soccer team dropped a 5-0 decision on the road to Lancaster Bible College in an United East contest on a rain soaked Saturday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions drop to 2-7-3 on the season and 1-3 in the United East, while the Chargers now sit at 6-7-2 on the year and 3-1 in the conference.

LBC scored its first goal of the game at the 9:10 mark of the first half and tacked on another at 10:59 to jump out to an early 2-0 advantage. They tacked on one more in the 18th minute and another in the 32nd minute to head into the break up 4-0. The Chargers added another score in the 54th minute, which would be the final tally of the contest.

Ethan Brazier finished with three saves in net, while Josh Martin recorded a pair of stops.

The Nittany Lions will host Penn State Abington on Wednesday, October 18 at 5 p.m. That game will be a Pink Game fundraiser with all proceeds benefitting the Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County.
