WVB tripped up by Arcadia

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Arcadia University in non-conference action on Thursday night.

The Nittany Lions suffered their first home defeat of the season to drop to 4-9 on the season, while the Knights improved to 6-14 on the season. Arcadia won by game scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-16 to earn the win.

Aubrey Hunt had a team-high seven kills, followed by Diana Stoltzfus with six and Katelyn Williams with five. Riley Kovach had led the Nittany Lions in digs (12), assists (22), and service aces (4). Hunt and Stoltzfus each chipped in 11 digs, while Williams and Makenzie Shoop both had nine.

The Nittany Lions will host a tri-match on Saturday, October 14 against Lancaster Bible College and Montclair State University. Berks and LBC will face off in an United East contest at 12 p.m., followed by the Charger and MSU playing at 2 p.m. The Nittany Lions and Red Hawks will then face off at 4 p.m. in the final match of the day.
