Men's soccer plays to scoreless draw with Albright

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks men's soccer team finished in a 0-0 draw with crosstown rival Albright College in a non-conference contest on Tuesday evening.

This was the third straight time tie between the two teams and second time in three years with a scoreless draw. The Nittany Lions move to 2-6-3 on the season, while Albright now has a record of 8-2-3 overall.

In the first half, Albright recorded six shots (five on goal), but the Berks defense was able to keep the visitors off the board. Ethan Brazier registered four stops in net and Jake Fought had one defensive save.

Possession in the second half belonged to Albright again, as they outshot the Nittany Lions by an 11-4 margin (7-2 on goal). Josh Martin came up huge with several diving stops during a late push by Albright. Fought and Landon Jamison each put a shot on net, but Albright Cooper Walters was able to deny them finding the back of the net.

The Nittany Lions will travel to Lancaster Bible College for an United East contest on Saturday, October 14 at 1 p.m.
