WBB falls to Gallaudet on the road

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Penn State Berks women's basketball team suffered an 82-47 setback on the road to Gallaudet University in an United East contest on Friday evening.

The Bison led 50-27 at halftime and outscored the Nittany Lions by a 32-20 in the second half to secure the win.

Hailey Miller led the Nittany Lions with 15 points and seven rebounds to go along with two assists and a steal. Kayley Mattis had eight points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals, while Lyla Spencer finished with six points, five boards, three steals, and two assists. Morgan Kline chipped in six points, while Jalyn Hann and Sam Hagenbush both had five points.

Cassidy Perry led the Bison with 16 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists, four steals, and two blocked shots. Anya Pothorski finished with 15 points and Rajena Guettler followed with 11 points.

The Nittany Lions will travel to St. Mary's College for an United East match on Saturday, January 28 at 1 p.m.
