Men's soccer falls on the road to Lebanon Valley

ANNVILLE, PA - The Penn State Berks men's soccer team dropped an 8-0 decision on the road to Lebanon Valley College at Herbert Field on Thursday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions had the opening kickoff and were able to get shots on goal by Johan Colorado and Ryan Goffice within the first minutes of action. Goffice had a shot go wide in the 8th minute of the game, but the Dutchmen would take control of possession from there.

LVC broke through with the first goal of the match at the 16:18 mark and tacked on three more goals for a comfortable 4-0 lead going into the halftime intermission. The home squad matched that scoring output in the second half to secure the victory.

Mark Pirrone tallied two shots on goal, while Gavin Dai and Thomas Andress also had a shot on target.

Ethan Brazier finished with four saves for Berks, while Dalton Fitterling made six stops for LVC.

Berks will host Marywood University in a non-conference contest on Thursday, September 10 at 1 p.m.
