Volleyball picks up 3-0 win over Immaculata

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks women's volleyball team earned a 3-0 victory over visiting Immaculata University in non-conference action on Tuesday night.

The Nittany Lions won by game scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-17 to improve to 5-3 on the season, while the Mighty Macs drop to 3-3 on the year.

Sarah Nichols recorded 10 kills and no errors in 19 attempts to finish with a .526 hitting percentage to go along with a pair of solo blocks. Makenzie Shoop chipped in six kills, while Cassie Shoupe and Aubrey Hunt both had four. Julia Rathsam collected 26 assists, nine digs, and two kills. Riley Kovach had a team-high 18 digs. Shoupe recorded three service aces, while Rathsam and Hunt both had two.

The Nittany Lions will host Muhlenberg College on Thursday, September 22 at 6 p.m.
