Men's golf finishes sixth at DIII Challenge

STATE COLLEGE, PA - The Penn State Berks men's golf team remained in sixth place at the second day of the Penn State Division III Challenge on the Penn State White Course on Sunday afternoon. (Results)

Berks finished with the round with a 323 to give a two-day score of 660 strokes, which narrowly trailed Penn College (656) and Penn State Behrend (657) for fourth and fifth place. Penn State Harrisburg collected a team score of 631 to finish first, followed by Penn State Abington (644) and Penn State Altoona (645).

Drew Morris placed tied for second out of 37 golfers after carding a 78 for a two-day score of 152 strokes. Trevor Dydo made a six stroke improvement to finish tied for 13th with a 162 (84-78). Derek Jopp (172) placed 25th, followed by Dylan DeSchamp (174) in 27th place. Luke Jozwiak (176) and Kolin Grogesky (178) finished 30th and 31st, respectively.

The Nittany Lions return to action at the Elizabethtown College Invitational on Thursday, April 7 at 12 p.m.
