WBB topped at home by Chargers

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks women's basketball team dropped an United East contest, 104-34, to Lancaster Bible College on Wednesday night.

Abby Ackley recorded a career-high 12 points to go along with seven rebounds and two assists in 40 minutes of action. Sam Hagenbush chipped in 10 points and two boards, while Kayla Zelonka and Katie Davis both had five points. Maddie Motze had three rebounds and three assists, Marissa Pyatt recorded two points and six rebounds.

Faith Hammond led the Chargers with 16 points, followed by Jenna Dombach and Sydney Heller with 11. Jade Eshelman chipped in nine points and a game-high 15 rebounds.

The Nittany Lions will host Wells College on Saturday, February 12 at 3 p.m. Prior to the game, Maddie Motze will be recognized for Senior Day.
