WBB drops conference contest to Harrisburg

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks women's basketball team dropped its United East contest, 76-32, to Penn State Harrisburg on Monday night.

Kayla Zelonka notched her first double-double of the season after recording 10 points and 11 rebounds. Sam Hagenbush chipped in seven points and six boards, while Abby Ackley had six points and two assists. Maddie Motze went 4-for-4 at the foul line and finished with four points and two assists, while Marissa Pyatt had three points and there rebounds. Katie Davis finished the game with two points, four boards, and two assists.

Kendis Butler led Harrisburg with 18 points, followed by Jenna Montana with 10. Ciani Redd-Howard had a team-high seven rebounds.

Berks will host Lancaster Bible College on Wednesday, February 9 at 8 p.m. The women's squad will team up the men to host their annual Pink Game to benefit the Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County.
