Men's basketball falls to Cazenovia at Elmira Tip-Off

ELMIRA, N.Y. - The Penn State Berks men's basketball team suffered a 78-73 setback to Cazenovia College on the first day of the Elmira Tip-Off Tournament on Friday evening.

The two teams played to a 28-28 tie through the first 20 minutes of play. In the second half, the two teams exchanged leads until the Wildcats grabbed the lead for good with 40 seconds remaining.

Jeff Lorah led the Nittany Lions with 18 points, followed by Josh Ruiz with 11 and Thomas Mandell with 10. Isaiah Cotten and Isaiah Ballard both chipped in nine points, while Darik Tannis-Harrited had eight. Cotten recorded a team-high four steals, while Tannis-Harriet and Josh Gardner both had three.

The Nittany Lions will face Bard College on Saturday, Novemeber 12 at 1 p.m.
