Women's tennis falls on the road to Alvernia

Box Score READING, PA - The Penn State Berks women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision on the road to Alvernia University in a non-conference contest on Friday afternoon.

Alvernia swept the three doubles matches to jump out to a quick lead.

In singles play, Bailey Rocker (No. 3) and Alyssa Love (No. 5) were topped 8-2, while Ashvini Subasinghe (No. 2) fell by a score of 8-1.

The Nittany Lions will wrap up the fall portion of their schedule with a home match against Cabrini University on Tuesday, October 11 at 2 p.m.
