Volleyball wins fourth straight after downing Moravian on the road

BETHLEHEM, PA - The Penn State Berks women's volleyball team defeated Moravian University, 3-0, in a non-conference contest on Tuesday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions improved to 13-8 on the season, while the Greyhounds dropped to 11-14 overall. Berks won by game scores of 25-22, 25-19, 25-16 to win its fourth consecutive contest.

Cassie Shoupe had a team-high in both kills (13), digs (18), and service aces (2). Sarah Nichols added seven kills and three block assists, while Makenzie Shoop added six kills. Julia Rathsam recorded 25 assists and 10 digs, while Riley Kovach had 16 digs and Aubrey Hunt collected 11.

The Nittany Lions will travel to Maryland for a pair of United East contests on Saturday, October 22. They will face host St. Mary's College at 12 p.m., followed by Lancaster Bible College at 2 p.m.
